Title: Movie: *Run In* WTF Happen with my GTI Facelift?!, sounds and feel much better
Post by: Wide on 30 October 2017, 19:09: I've read about people who said that it takes some 1000 km before the engine let all hp and exhaust sounds better ..

I've thought it's just been a good idea.

But now that feels and sounds my GTI much better, Do not know if I'm just imagining .... :whistle: :whistle:

But have to love this car, f-ck what it's wonderful ... :grin: :grin:

Et 49 7,0" :). I have i movie on the clearance coming, but i dont have messured but not more than 1cm :rolleyes:

Yes but I have found it takes much more than 1000 Km. Mine seems to have loosened up and developed its own 'voice' after some 10,000 miles, now at 30,000 miles it feels properly run in, and should stay the same for the next 100,000 miles or so, before things start to wear.

Mine is proper noicy now, think it on the edge when cold start in the morning when everybody is asleep... :whistle: :grin: :grin:
