might just give them the swerve then.

i spoke to a chap down petersfield way this morning - airey tuning.  he reckons 140 squid and she'll be sweet.  does that sound like a fair deal??

£140 for a rolling road tune sounds a bit, no, a lot steep to me !  Depends what you are getting for your money, I'd ask that first. Just as a comparison, monzablue16v got a RR tune at a guy in Wakefield for £50 !

thats what i was reading before gibby.  i thought it was a bit steep myself seeing as most others paid 50 - 60 plus VAT.

i'd rather take it to someone who knows their cheddar with valvers as well.  i guess i shall just have to keep looking or ask for a late pass of the old girl!!

My local place charge £50 for using the rollers and labour and parts on top.

£140 for a tune ! Nah, I'm still not convinced.  :undecided:

Edit: And another thing, how can they say £140 to gti jim when they dont know what it needs to tune it up, it might be running sweet already or just need a slight adjustment here and there without any new parts and he's paid £140 to put it on some rollers.  Or am I being slightly cynical here  :undecided:

Well all they have to do is weld a 8V GTI system to a 1.6 downpipe, If they manage to cock that up i will creap in the shadows knocking each one of them unconcious with a spanner before tieing them all back to back in the office and teabagging them with my hairy left testical as a punishment for there stupidty.....Or ill complain and not pay them..Havnt decided which yet.

Im in hemel, Near watford, junction 9 on the M25. I baught the exhaust of some dude who just had an S3 put in the car down there and left the exhaust there. Gotta ring them this afternoon to book it, If they want me to pay through the nose to fit it ill just pick it up and fit it at a local tire and exhaust shop or somthing. I dont know if they do have a rolling road, But if they drop a engine into a car i would hope they would at least tune it on some sorta rolling road before letting it out on to the road. Ill take a look when im there on saturday and let you know mate

what's wrong with your right nut sack mk2?  is it shaven and not as fearsome or summit?!?!?

Edit:  Fielder - i read a couple of your other posts on here - you're not gonna smash up designerdubs joint with your baseball bat if the milk turns out to be sour are you?  (if so make sure you take the camera)

Design a dubs dont have a RR. I used them to sort my Rallye out and had no problems with them. I would use them the again.
