Post by: MEZZA on 30 October 2017, 09:27
Just wondering anybody on here who took first deliveries of the Mk 7.5 and had this option - how is the material
wearing up to now ? - yes,I know it's early days but just a thought.

I'd have liked the Art velour seats but wasn't able to add any options to my lease car. Not sure I'd pay £750 of my own money for these seats though... Sure they will wear well though, guess it depends how much you're in and out the car!

19k and still like new. A nice feature is the fact the rear of the seats are leather as are the door cards.

Are you sure it is leather? On the VW site it says "leather look" and I'm pretty sure a lot of the actual leather interior is not actually leather....

It’ll be ‘pleather’ (vinyl) rather than real leather. The configurator describes the Art Velours option as ‘Black/Red Art Velours/leather look’. Even when you pay for the Vienna leather option you don’t get leather on the rear of the seats or door cards.
