I have noticed the clear plastic that covers the speedo / rev counter dials is very lightly scratched, likely from cleaning. I've only had the car a month, it might of been like it before I bought it, and I didn't spot it.
Anyway, I just wondered how easy it is to replace that part and if anymore has done it?
Also anyone know what the part number is, as the whole surround (which I've seen on eBay) doesn't seem to include the clear plastic.

Could you not lightly poish it? Toothpaste or something might work
I can’t see that coming as a spare part it will be part of the cluster I think

Pretty sure as mkviken says, it's part of the instrument cluster pack, so probably not available separately ?
A product like Meguiars PlastRX (http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/engine-and-exterior/meguiars-plastrx/prod_283.html) might do the job, but probably best to remove the instruction fascia to get better access to the plexiglass cover.

thanks both

There's a thing called Polywatch which removes scratches from plastic watch faces.... I used it on my wife's Swatch and it works perfectly.
Try that?

The dial plastic is a nightmare, just looking at them causes light scratches. I have a small handheld polisher that I use on them with a polish.
