I have an issue which occurred on my Golf GTI MK7 2014. Went to start the car using the start stop function and it did turn over. Lots of errors popped up on the dash as listed below. Then turned the ignition off and back on it didn't start first time and take quite a bit of turning over to get it going. Error codes that have been stored on the ECU are also listed below. Has anyone had this? Its just out of warranty and VW want over £300 just to look at it.
One the Dash
Error: Tyre pressure loss indicator
Fault: Electric parking brake
Error: Start-stop system
Error: Stabilisation control (ESC)
Error: Auto Hold
And on the ECU
P268100 - Coolant bypass valve actuation open circuit
U112300 - Data bus signal reception
P033500 - Crankshaft position sensor faulty operation
Thanks,
Ash

I work for Porsche, and the bypass valves give an awful lot of bother, so with regards to fault P268100, it could just be a faulty one. Seems strange that all of these would come on at once though, but a faulty or damaged Crank sensor could cause the difficulty in turning over.

With that many faults in one hit, and with the engine being stopped I’d be looking to check the battery is in full health. Start with the easy things..

Thanks guys, my initial thought were a faulty cam speed sensor or general electrical fault somewhere. I have it with David Paul of Warrington to see if they can find out what's wrong with it. Never going back to Warrington VW again turns out they left all plastic covers from my engine and under the car inside the boot. Needless to say I wasn't paying £300 for them to spend 3 hours trying to find the fault on the car!
