Title: what should you look out for (or ask about) on handover?
Post by: mariamartinez on 30 September 2017, 14:50
Simple question, what should you look out for specifically on handover day? also should you ask for anything on the day? and any set up options (eg satnav / smart phone / car play). thanks.

Oh, and make sure there are a load of wheels in the back too and that they haven't completely wrecked the interior by putting them in there...

Cheeky!!

In my view it boils down to two things only:

1. Is it actually the car you ordered (new cars only) - ie are all the standard features and selected options present.

2. Is it damaged in any way (and that includes paint swirls, alloys, upholstery, bodywork etc) because its very hard to lay damage at the dealers door once you have driven away.

OK - there is one more thing on new cars - have they removed the transport suspension pucks!
