Hi guys,
I drive a slightly quicker than average 8 valve. Anyone have any mk3 clutch experience?
My clutch is fine but i am working at tightening up the whole car and wondered if a nice sports clutch would make much difference???
I know it depends on driving style but any ideas the average lifetime of your standadrd GTI clutch?
I have learnt how to drive my car but if i am a bit sloppy pulling away in first i get a weird judder, quite violent. Feels like wheels spinning but i guess it is cluch, anyone else have this?

Is the clutch worn? sports clutch will last a long time but cost a lot of money.

No sorry I have not a clue as to what the f*ck you are talking about, I have an 8 valve and cane it and have never come across the juddering clutch symdrome you have, mmmm dunno mate.

Cheers guys!
I have nothing to compare it too so it is hard to tell! Pick is still very good compared to other cars i have driven and if i am careful and get the right amount of revs and ease it in i get great pick up and no judder. Tis a weird one. The car is wiv the boys at AMD for a couple of days the week after next. I am having new susspension kit and chip. Will see what they think when i get my track time.
Always wanted a nice tight sports clutch in it at some point so i think i will go ahead and get it done.
Watchin I Know What You Did Last Summer on 4, tis a crap film but Sarah Michelle Geller used to have great breasts before she got all skinny! Ohhh...
