Having had problems earlier with my local vw dealer that I received scratched panels and scratched steering wheel. So this time I do not feel chances .. :( ..
This is a 1 Euro safe kit! :grin: :grin:

Ha ha, love it! I hope it works.
In the U.K, the dealer will also wash the car as part of the service, unless you ask them not to. I would not trust the dealer to wash my car with their bucket of dirty water and gritty sponge - I don't want them to add complementary swirls to my paintwork :grin:
So I hang one of these on the rear view mirror;

And I tie a tag on my keys with 'please do not wash this car' written on it, and also ask the person at the service reception to write 'do not wash this car' on the service worksheet.
It's worked so far.

It is the one thing that has been on my mind since I had it detailed from new.
My plan is to print up enough 3"x4" sticky parcel lables to attach one to each window AND the service sheet!
Im also going to have the car cleaned by my detailer the day before it goes in.

I'd suggest you may wish to edit your post Mike J, that's rather disrespectful. I've not quoted it should you do make a change as otherwise there won't be much point in editing.

Romanian - Nu spala
Polish - Nie muj

A few of these dotted about works for me, plus dealership are fully aware of the no wash rule. I booked mine in for service earlier this week and they'd noted it down before I even opened my mouth. :grin:

How so?
The only thing that needs correcting is the spelling of Romania.

I find the first paragraph rude and disrespectful, that's just not an appropriate way to refer to another person. Also making assumptions as to the nationality of these people which comes across as prejudiced. You clearly disagree and that's fine, doesn't bother me. But I thought the poster in question may wish to reconsider what they had written and if on reflection thought it wasn't the right way to refer to someone else would then have the opportunity to edit their text.

Sorry to have caused you a problem Watts?
Now removed.
I don't visit here on a regular basis, but if it should happen again, which I doubt, just drop me an email and I will sort it.
