Title: Who else is picking up their Golf today (1st September 2107)?

Collecting my 5dr GTi PP DSG from Gillingham later this afternoon and then looking forward to my 4 hour drive home (though not the bit that involves the M25!)

Enjoy being one of the first 67 plate GTi guys!  I fly back to the UK on 7th and have mine being delivered on the 8th which takes the pain out of returning from the hols I guess 👍

Haven't got my date yet but I've been told by leasing firm September. So hopefully soon!

Arnold, make sure you don't pick mine up by mistake!  When I collect mine at 10am in the morning if I've got a free upgrade to DSG & DCC I'll know james has made a boo boo!

Just seen a 67 plate R 5 Door in Lapiz Blue just off the M53 near Spital (Wirral), looked fantastic.

Picked up mine this morning from Salisbury - she's loud  :smiley: Spent the rest of the day fitting VW black/silver sill protection, red LED footwell lights, LED boot light, Audi 12v chrome socket plug, VW racing line air filter and painted the first wheel hub with another coat of silver. More fun tomorrow...!!

Mines a 17 plate, so bye bye to smugness. Hello to private plate on retention. Owned since 1990. :wink:

What are the sill protectors you fittted? Any links?
