Title: Golf R software update

So I had my first service and as part of this, the electronic handbrake had a recall so the software was updated. The infotainment software was updated too to fix the display and sound not coming on when switching on the engine. Now I notice whenever I open the drivers door with the engine/ignition on, the alarm no longer sounds warning me to switch the engine off (I have keyless obviously) anyone else notice this or had any updates done that has changed the car configuration?

You can turn the door alarm on/off via OBDEleven.
