Title: Scratching sound from rear /exhaust

Mk41.8t. 
Scratching sound from rear possibility it's more rear off side. Shocks springs not even a year old. I'm thinking it could be exhaust bracket as it was picked up on mot last year ish or longer iirc.
Any one hear had a scratching sound from rear to find out it was exhaust bracket.

Have you ever got underneath and had a good look at everything? Surely that's the first place to start...could be as simple as a stick, picked up off the street.....
