Hi everyone!!
Justvtaken delivery of a pre-registered 2017 mk7.5 GTD and I asked about mud flaps being added on! Told it's not Possible despite being options on the VWUK website new car configuratior?!?!
Anybody any thoughts/ideas/experience of this?!?!

The rear bumper profile on the trailing edge of the rear wheel arch on the mk7.5 GTD at the point where you'd need to fit the mud flaps is different to the mk7 GTD. The mk7.5 rear bumper has a black lip on the lower edge that runs round to the rear wheel arch and follows the line of the the black sill extension, and the mk7 didn't have this. So it's unlikely that there are rear mud flaps for the mk7.5 GTD (yet). However, there is currently a used mk7.5 GTD on VW's website that has front mud flaps fitted, so fronts are available. The VW configurator is notorious for being inaccurate. The 'options' section in the configurator tends to be generic and not model-specific for some of the options, so the fact it shows rear mud flaps doesn't mean they'll be available for all models!
