Title: tyre pressure sensor when swapping alloys/wheels
Post by: mariamartinez on 27 July 2017, 15:49
Forgive my extreme ignorance on this, when you swap wheelsets does the tyre pressure sensor on golf 7.5 work automatically without adjustment. I have no idea where the sensor is or how it works. thanks MM

AFAIK the system is based on the ABS sensors detecting the rotational speed if each tyre. If a tyre pressure drops it rotates faster and the warning light comes on. I find if I adjust the pressure or change a tyre it is best to do a reset. The warning light may not come on immediately, but usually will after a day or two.
