Title: Power steering

Can anyone help please? Spent 7 years restoring my 1991 mk2 golf gti 8v, I'm almost there with it but when I start the engine my p/s goes loopy!! As I've had new pipes made for the rack could I of got them mixed up where they go in near the column? Would that not let the fluid circulate?

What do you mean goes loopy? Is it on off power steering. Helped with revs?

Sorry for not seeing this! Been busy on the car! That's sorted now cheers....pipes were wrong
