Title: Help from any A90 Brechin bypass drivers using ACC.
Post by: dfsGTD on 30 June 2017, 10:24
Has anyone who uses the A90 Brechin Bypass had their ACC deactivate. It has happened to me twice now in the same place. After turning it on and off again after about 30 seconds it works ok. I was wondering if it is the angle with the concrete wall in the center that causes it because it only seems to happen when I'm in the outside lane overtaking. Or is it a coincidence? It works as it should elsewhere and this is the only time I've ever had any problems with it.

I know the road you mean and I use it regularly. Never had a problem with the ACC over the entire stretch

My GTI used to do this when heading northbound uphill. I used to get a sensor error message, but my workmate who has an R never had the same issue! I tended to be in the outside lane when it happened
