Title: Anybody here had their R damaged at Birmingham Airport?
Post by: Finglonga on 19 June 2017, 16:40
Taken from Facebook at Birmingham airport. The 4x4 has no MOT or Tax either. I would be furious if someone did that to my car.

I'd go absolutely mental, absolutely no need for it.

It's coming up as insured so the Golf R driver will hopefully be back before the Land Rover idiot.

Will insurance not be invalid if the car has no tax or MOT?

No, insurance is still valid for the third party (The R), however they may not pay to fix the owners damage as the car did not have a current MOT.

Nearest airport and I will never fly from there by choice as parking is always shambolic

Fair play to the guy and he's not even charging for the service.  Almost saint like among other Golf GTi Owners.

Not really, I live almost beside the airport. Why would I charge, I wouldn't cost me anything.

As long as you don't mind having 2k miles more on the clock when you return.  Nice racket negates the need for having a motor. Almost you can use my R whenever, all I need is a reason to fly from Brum! Although not that far from me? As it happens. Nice gesture mate.
