Can't tell from that, it depends on wheel width and offset. I thought people ran 205/40/17's on a mk3?

It will be close on the rear arches. From experience 17" TT wheels on a mk3, 205/40 tyres, mild suspension drop, they clipped the rear arches at times.

the right 17's look great on a mk3 but getting the right ones is not so easy.

Iv'e always stuck with 16's with 205 45 on and no probs ever.
