Hi All,
Old man here who ordered a GTI in April and still awaiting build confirmation!!!! Indium grey with Brescia Alloys
My first ever GTI  of any make but did used to own 5 GT Turbo & 21 Turbo many moons ago.
Why does waiting take so long!!!
Will be interested if I'm caught up in "Fog gate"
Pics will follow when it arrives.

Not sure what you class as old.. I'm 38 and never had a GTI/hot hatch so looking forward to my Indium Grey GTI arriving next month. Apparently my build is week 23 and so should miss the fog gate issue. Will wait and see, only ordered it 11th May so not too long wait wise.

Mine is coming via a broker as its leased but the supplying dealer has confirmed build week 23 for late June delivery. Can't wait....

Mine is now sat somewhere waiting... Finance docs for the lease only got sorted on Monday due to issue with VW support for the lease deal so very annoying that the car arrived last week and still don't have it....!

Mine's on final leg to retailer, hopefully it's there.
Plans for it to be ceramic coated Thursday/Friday. Retailers didn't think would be a problem last week.
Off to Silverstone Classic so need it by then

Car all sorted PDI etc, Detailer on Thursday/Friday to ceramic coat and protect it, Pick up Saturday.
Is it Saturday YET!!!!
