Maybe the 7.5 PP uses similar pipes to the Clubsport ED40 which are different to the mk7PP.

See if you can get part numbers to compare with Mk7's GTI and Ed40 CS exhaust parts.

Slide arm under car with phone, video part numbers off silencer boxes.
Or play one of your under car vids slowly and zoom in... :nerd:

According to a trustworthy VW source from Germany but without solid part number verification: the 7.5 tail-pipes are the only item that is borrowed from the Clubsport but not the muffler. He says that "the muffler on the 7.5GTI is the cheaper 'wrapped steel' (as in 7GTI) instead of the 'stamped shell' stainless construction that is only used on the CS, CSS, R and S3"
Having a look at your undercarriage vid, it seems that the above statement might be true since my CS muffler reads:
5Q0 118 T TN6
but in the 7.5GTI the code (as much as I can decipher at least) looks like: 5Q0 (or 6) 120 DX.

Intresting! :). but don´t you think something in different to the Mk7 exaust?. I sound a lot more, can it only be the tailpipes that does that?! :undecided:

Have talked to one of the best tuner in Sweden to make a step 1 software that also has extra "pops and bangs".
There would be no problem at all.
But according to them, I will have trouble with the catalyst. "Pops and bangs are badly injured on the catalytic. So shorten the life expectancy ..
It will already be of major problems with cars that are original with "pops and bangs" like RS6 etc ..
So what do you think about this? :)

It's unburnt fuel detonating in the exhaust so yes, it's not going to do the cat any good.
Sounds cool though! There's a Mini Cooper JCW just up the road from me that has the sports exhaust, it sounds great

It is loud
