More information required.
was it hard it start?
Is it lumpy tickover?
Has it just started doing it?
Has it lost power?
Blue smoke out if exhaust?
Whistle noises or knocking noises?
Etc...

No started as it should
Very lumpy on tickover
Only had the car a month
No loss of power
No smoke
Has a metal ticking noise around 1500-2000 revs

Let the car tick over and slowly lift up the dipstick to break the seal. Does the idle settle down then or get worse and nearky stall?

its in the dealers have a new  actuator fitted I will try it when I get it back cheers

I Have experienced the same thing after a long drive. Takes longer to cool down and the fan is very very loud.

Sold it back to the dealers for the same money plus costs
Just ordered a 2015 dsg golf r from vw stock comes this Saturday
