Hi,
I have a Clubsport which has an improved exhaust with better sound than the regular GTI. But I read in articles that the Clubsport S has an exhaust with 10mm bigger end-pipes. This exhaust would be a main contributer to the 20 additional BHP. Also the sound would very nice, I assume better than the CS.
Anyone considered replacing the exhaust on the CS with the CSS exhaust? is it fully compatible? does VW deliver it and at which price? Is it worth it?

Hi Jan DR, there's a thread with part numbers and prices, as a starter:

I think most of the power difference between the CS and CSS will be in the ECU software. Be careful if you are changing CS exhaust parts for CSS parts as there are pipe diameter differences - the CS has a smaller diameter of pipe after the centre resonator. Even the normal GTI is CSS diameter at that point. Have a look at the pictures on this thread: http://www.golfmk7.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16951&highlight=clubsport+muffler&page=10
