I have had a search throughout the whole Internet for pictures of a GTI or GTD with Eibach Pro springs fitted and have only found about 3 decent pictures.
Has anyone got them fitted to their car on here? If so can you please post a side view picture so I can see the difference between the drop of the front and rear?
Thanks.

Got sportlines if you fancy a piccie of them - at work now but could post later.
-
I'm having some VWR ones fitted on my R this Thursday.
What drop are you looking at on the Eibachs?

Yes please 🙂

15-20mm rear and 20-25mm front, I don't want a crazy drop but I want it to feel more planted. I had sportlines on my old VXR and they were really good springs.
-
I had Eibach Pro springs fitted to my R a few months ago, the drop is very subtle and less than the VWR springs.
Absolute am I would suggest they have dropped my R 10-12mm, doesn't even look lowered until compared to a stock car.

It's strange that the pro's for the R is the same drop front and rear but for the GTI it lowers the front more. That's the look I want to go for, OEM look but a touch stiffer and flatter in the twisties.

It has made for a great driving car, even the wife could notice the difference in a positive way.
-
In general from having Eibachs Pros fitted to three cars the drop is less than other opposition but have had a more compliant ride (I have always tended to prefer their ride to oem).
They are not as focused as others on track but your spine tends to remain in tact on the way there.

Apologies for the different perspectives/sizes/distance from car.
Remember these are Sportlines which are allegedly a bit lower, especially on the front.
-
That looks perfect. What's the manufacturer figures for the drop on sportlines? How's the ride compared to stock? Where did you buy them?

Got them from Larkspeed and their website quotes 30mm front and 20mm rear.

What colour were the springs? Have you ever scraped anywhere? I used to scrape on multi-stories all the time.
-
Looks well.
I had eibachs fitted on a previous car more for stance and show as it was used as a daily but also car shows and concourse.
They were 35mm drop all round and the ride and handling were spot on and not as firm as hard as I thought they were going to be I was more than happy with them
-
I did have to do the fender screw mod when I put the 19s on it as they rubbed on the front but had no issues on standard wheels. I've had a reasonable amount in the boot with no rubbing on the rear.
Funnily enough I had an astra VXR with sportlines prior to the golf and the ride feels very similair.
-
How much firmer are the Eibach Pros compared to OEM (GTI) ? im after a slight drop but not to much but i do want it firmer .. also im running 10mm and 15mm spacers , but im sure it will be ok .. had 20mm on the rear but they rubbed !
-
They are quite firm - I have to go quite slow over speed bumps but everyday driving is fine (although I do keep a keener eye out for big bumps etc).
Oh and in reply to an earlier question, they're red.

Very nice, what's the ride like with them?
God the more I see a 3 door the more I want one

The ride is definetly stiffer than stock but by only a touch. I have come from a Corsa VXR on Eibach Sportlines so it still feels like I'm driving on a cloud in comparison.
I'm running 19's without DCC and the ride is perfect for me.

That is the pro kit you fitted ? I see sportlines mentioned also

Yep I have had the pro kit fitted. I have a 140 mile drive today so I'll report back later on how they did.

Interested to hear how you got on with your drive on the new springs ?
-
I was really impressed with them, the car was definitely flatter in the corners and felt much more planted. Coming from a VXR go cart I thought the standard GTI springs had too much body roll for a sporty car. They are firmer but ride just as good as stock. When are yours coming?
-
Supplier took my order but then said he had no stock 😔
So once i get my refund ill find a new supplier... but im away at work for another week anyway
-
When I ordered the garage said there was no stock in the UK so they had to order direct from Germany. I know the feeling being away at work all week, it's a pain to only have the weekend to sort things out. Are you in the forces by any chance?
