I realise there's a whacking great big speedometer in the cluster but is there any way of showing the digital speedo when on any other multifunction display? I have the digital speedo on all of the time except when I use the satnav. Would be great to have a little speedo displayed where the, pointless, compass is in the top centre of the display.

Not normally. Someone I think said you can activate a "driving school" mode using vcds though.

I do like the multifunction display but it'd be great if you could customise it, like the Apple Watch where you can choose what you see in the different positions.
I did find this on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNyz7XRKfWk

Which does look interesting as you can see in the bottom left corner that the speedo is present at all times

Actually a bit confused by this as I've done a search on Google Images and notice some displays have that digital speedo in the bottom left corner of the display and some don't?!
-
Is that not from the ACC? Setting the speed on the ACC?

Ah, yes you could be right there.

Ahhh sorry, you meant the MFD, I was talking about on the MIB with "driving school mode"
Surely if you wanted a small digital speed display then the whacking great big dial that shows your speed would be easier to read?
Customisation though would be nice, but I suspect even the new digi dash will have only three or four different layouts when it could have the ability to do pretty much anything.

Yeah, maybe but I find the regular speedo has so many numbers and it looks a real mess and hard to quickly view your speed. Even a little digital one, I think, would be easier to read at a glance.
The 7.5 looks pretty good. Really clear with both regular and digital readouts.
Oh well, not to worry. Just me being picky. TBH, it's the only thing I've found. I absolutely love my R
