Hi everyone,I've been looking at the golf gti after picking it over the golf r.

I've done some builds on carwow but the first two builds had the pp as an option,it's no longer available but after some reading I've read that it's standard,so does that include the dif and bigger brakes?

The best quote I've had so far is £27,800,that's for standard black paint,reverse camera,DCC and he velour cloth,does that sound a good price?

There's a branch of vw called inchcape who are giving £4000 deposit contribution,what I don't want to do is place an order and end up with an older shape gti as I believe they have just changed shape?

One more thing,can you only get heated seats on the leather?

Hi Ben - the PP is not available to order yet so won't appear on the options. Most seem to think it'll be early May. £4000 deposit contribution sounds highly likely to be the pre-facelift version, I think VW is currently offering £1000. So that's likely to be for cars in stock at the dealers but you could always ask them. No idea if your quote is good but try drive the deal and any other brokers you can find, only once you have a few can you tell if a quote is competitive. Heated seats were standard on the outgoing, not sure but possibly they are on the facelift too. Check the list of standard kit, they are part of the winter pack.

Got a quote for £27,200 on drive the deal,what's the current waiting times of a new build ? I'm kind of flexible with what spec I pick,just has to have dsg and five doors really so can pick from stock if the price is right

Heated seats is available on cloth seats too.

Heated seats are standard on mk7.5 performance golfs, even without leather.

Hi Ben,

The £4000 deposit contribution offer was marketed on last of the run out models. They are all gone now or have been pre-registered.

It was in fact discount but marketed as a deposit contribution because no such VW finance offer existed.
