Title: R build date confirmed!

Hi Guys

Got my build date for my Golf R confirmed as w/c 24th April. I ordered the car on the 20th March  :evil:

The dealer had a build slot for that week and got it amended to my car spec. Really excited now  :laugh:

So all going well you might have it by end of May/early June.  :cool:

My dealer told me they have an R coming in soon, and would I like a drive? Silly question! Sounds like all the dealers have been "encouraged" to take a demo R. Makes sense for the "halo" car.

You must be chuffed - what's the spec?

Yes, very happy at the quick turnaround. I waited 7 months on my GTD in 2013  :cry:

Spec is 3 Door DSG in Lapiz Blue, Black Pretorias, DCC, Dynaudio, Rear reversing camera and black painted mirror caps.

Hopefully if it all goes to plan, I'd like to take delivery 1st June  :laugh:
