Title: suspension top mount removal

I want to take my topmounts off but there is that 'turred collar' (special nut) that is a pain in the neck to remove.

Does anyone know where i can buy the tool to remove this?

You can buy the slotted nut tools from halfords for about ?20. Make sure you use spring compressors when dismantling the struts.

I asked halfords but they said ''no we dont see these''  ???

I know , halfords don't sell anything, thats what they told me. Go look in the special tool section, look for 'macpherson strut tools'.
