Title: 1981 golf mk2 gti 1.8 8valve

Hey guys...i drive a 1981 mk2 gti 1.8 8v with k-jetronic...i recently cleaned the fuel distributor on air cleaner box and since then my car wouldnt idle...drives but wond idle and has slight missfire...pls help

It seems like youve disturbed the air flap on tickover.
With the rubber to the inlet of there should be a slight gap on the disc.
If this is still here you need to go into tbe mk2 section and find the tune your kjet as you may have to now reset the idle and while your there double check the co

it can't be a mk2 if it's 1981, or it can't be 1981 if it's a mk2 :wink:. have you adjusted anything?
