Title: Can GTD alloys be specced on a GTI?
Post by: MK6-Fan on 12 March 2017, 17:22
I'm looking at upgrading to a 3dr MK7 Golf GTI brand new and wondered if anyone knows whether you can spec these alloys (optional of course) that are on the GTD for the GTI?

I really like these wheels and prefer them over the standard GTI alloys.

No unfortunately you cannot.
However I am sure you will find another GTD owner who would swap wheels with you.

No they won't. I asked this question when looking for my wife's car. It's just not done by a dealer.

Buy the ones you want, even a good set of used ones and get them refurbed if necessary, and then sell yours. You might break even or be down a bit but you'll get what you want.
