Title: Spigot rings
Post by: Ads17 on 01 March 2017, 20:48
What would be the best bonding agent to bond the plastic spigot rings into the bore of my new alloys?

The spigots are currently moving when mounting the wheel onto the tapered hub on the mk7 and ending up misaligned and not seating correctly.

I personally wouldn't use those particular spigot rings if they're moving and the wheel is being misaligned.

I have a couple of sets of after market wheels and have also used the spigots issued with them and not had this issue, only thing I use is a locator pin in one of the screw holes as easier to locate.

Only issue I have ever had is the spigots sticking to the hub so just make sure I use some copper grease on them.

I wills the spigots on Team Dynamics are not the best as have to order a new set due to clips breaking
