Title: Thumb Wheel

What does the thumb Wheel for/do on the bottom of the in glovebox hard drive? I have looked in the infotainment manual,but cannot find any reference to it

There's a wheel-like control for cooling the glovebox interior, probably that.

This is LHD car but if you mean the wheel with the white marks on then as above it's  for air con glovebox.

It is very handy to have if you like or need to carry a bar of chocolate and if the glovebox is big enough to fit a bottle of water in.

First car I had it in was a Saab years ago.
