Wanted to keep the smell of a new car and bought some "Chemical Guys New Car Smell" air freshener:
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/air-fresheners/chemical-guys-new-car-smell-air-freshener/prod_562.html
There were mixed reviews, but thought I'd give it a go. Some of the reviews say it smells like Chemicals... Given a new car smell is plastics and glue predominately I hoped it would do the job.
Cleaned and hoovered the car and sprayed 2 squirts on both front carpet mats. And, seems to smell like a new car! Wife gave a friend a lift today, they asked how come the car still had that "new car smell" as the car is now several months old.... Seems it's done the job. Very pleased

I saw these too when I was last on cleanyourcar.
I was/still am very sceptical to whether these things actually work but having read a opinion from someone on here to say they actually work is good to know.
I'm always cleaning my car and I only allow coffee to be drunk in it no food ect (I would live on coffee if my wife let me...) so my car (currently MK6) has still got that new smell...or so I'm told.
I might buy one for my wifes neglected Aygo though...so thanks for your thoughts.

Please let us know if you do get one one Mr GTD.
If you're opinion is as good as Juggler's then I'll prob get one too

If you do buy. Don't spray more than twice on each front mat as it's quite strong...
