Hi
Looks like my GTD is going to be replaced soon  as we need bigger car and if I Part Ex I will swap out the rear 'R' LEDs and Bluetooth module to offset the lower £££ I get !!
I had to code the lights when fitted as there was an error. Will I have to recode when I remove them or will it show OK?
Likewise, anything I will need to do re the bluetooth once I remove?
I'll have to search out a VCDS as I don't have one if I need to make changes.
Cheers

It would be easier for the dealer to reset original coding for the lights once you have re-fitted the original ones. At worst you'll have bulb out warnings.
Bluetooth can just be unplugged.

Thanks Dubber

If you search on the internet I think ive read Ross Tech posted the info in the past.
Im not sure what the standard code was as earlier cars had it hidden under a 00 displayed code.

Cheers Snoopy
Research across a few VW forums/sites tells me I have to change Byte 18 back to '00'
Will have to see if I can borrow a VCDS cable to do this.

Did you manage to sort this? I've just sold my GT privately and am taking the .:R rear lights off.
-
Hi. Yes, all sorted. I got a local guy with VCDS to recode to remove errors from when the original lights went back on. Bluetooth was just a case of unplugging - no errors.
I've still got the items I took off to sell - just been so busy but hopefully will get time this week.
What car are you getting?

What car are you getting?
I bought an Amarok to replace my Passat just over a week ago and a G7 Match to replace my wifes Golf yesterday.

Nice! Enjoy those
