Has anyone refurbished Santiago wheel to a solid colour ? Matt black or anthracite ? I think they would look good but a bit reluctant to take the plunge yet ... my wheels are unmarked at moment... some pics would be nice if anyone has done this ...

I'm quick, snappy and on the ball today! Just don't ask me what I did yesterday as I've no idea :embarrassed:

That's because yesterday you were wishing you had a five door non red GTD and have forcibly blocked it out of your mind! :lipsrsealed:

If it didn't need some bodywork and I could drive it properly without fear of a rear wheel letting go then I would definitely consider it at the moment

Exactly what I'm after ! But but was also thinking about black ... Eric is from Aberdeen, I'm 1/2hr north of Aberdeen... there is now. A place up near Aberdeen that dose 19" for £220 bare wheels or £270 just drop of the car .. and they have a huge range of colours and finishes ... there is a Matt black that has a slight metallic flake that looks really nice without looking bling !

I got mine done at The Wheel Specialist in Dyce
£270 is a great price if you can get them done for that
Just checked and I paid £419

Customised Coatings seem to get a very positive write up from a local Aberdeen VW forum I'm on - several have used them for a variety of items and they all seem very happy with the standard

Here is the Matt black glitter , think it looks real nice .not sure if that is a textured finish , if it is then it could be a problem with holding dirt . im going over to their place today to see the range ....my Gti is black so not sure if such a dark wheel will be the right choice

wow that is very nice
i didnt even know they done glitter on wheels lol

I went up to the showroom today , the Matt black glitter looks good but I'd say it wouldn't keep well ... it's quite textured and think it would trap dirt .. plenty other nice colours though ... Matt dark bronze was looking real nice also the shadow chrome .. car is booked in for Tuesday.. just need to decide on colour

I have had shadow chrome on a couple sets of wheels in the past and IMO it does look well and that was on a panther black metallic
