Title: Replacement Mk6 GTI Exterior Door Handle

Hello everyone,

First time poster here.

Today i rubbed the driver side door handle on my grey mk6 gti on a piller and i'd like to replace it. I did quite a bit of googling and couldn't see any concrete advice on what to do. Has anyone here replaced an exterior door handle, or had it replaced at a garage or can provide any advice?

The various stages of removal and installation are listed on the left - click on the links you need and it should take you through the process of removing the lock cover, lock barrel and handle and subsequent re-installation.
