Title: Changed my pilot cup sport 2 tyres
Post by: Bigwod on 09 February 2017, 14:42
Made the switch over to continental contisport 5p this morning, from the  michelins for my clubsport s .
Been cleaning the cups down really surprised at the amount of  very tiny stones etc imbedded in the rubber, it's so soft and they have only done 322 carefully run in miles. Don't think there be going back on again unless I go on a track day where I think they belong.
If anybody wants to make an offer over £600, for the full set and collect from Shropshire please do.
Around £235 each at a guesstimate so a great saving on a new set. 235/35/19

I would keep the faith as I have got about 8k out of mine when they were on the R and it did have a hard life and still not done so going on the R wagon for the Summer

When my wife went from Pirelli to cup 2's she noticed the amount of stones and crap being brought up from the tyres to the car particularly on the rear but I suppose the 305 section tyres are partly to blame for that.

First time after she got them and I was driving it I was amazed at the difference. The difference in grip was amazing too though.

8,000 miles out of a set sounds good. Hope mine last that long. Anyone else had experience of mileage?
