Tried researching without luck, can anyone tell me how to remove the small cubby, glovebox on drivers side please?

You pull it out as far as it will naturally go and the press both sides in and pull down towards you.

....as monkeyhanger says. But it's really tight so you think you're going to break it. I pulled the cubby out as far as it would go then backed off very slightly, pressed really hard on one side until it clicked out, then did the same for the other side.
Putting it back, it wants to be set a bit lower than you initially think. Get the bottom hinges lined up correctly then swing it up and, if all is OK, click it back in place.

Thanks for the replies guys, had tried pushing it in at sides, must not be strong enough. Will have another go.

^ I had that problem with disengaging the glovebox. There are 2 tabs up in the glovebox that you have to press hard to get it to drop and reveal the fusebox. The left hand side pushed in and released easily. I had to push the roght hand tab in much harder and further to get it to disengage.
