Title: Rear brake caliper piston not winding back..

Piston moves with wind back tool, but isn't actually rewinding back...it was out quite far, and has moved very slightly..any ideas?

Take calliper off. Put in a vice. Get somone to turn piston while you put some pressure of the piston. Itll the grab and go back.
Or do this on the car. Possible but sometime alittle tricky

Done now, elbow grease a plenty, all done while on the car..WITHOUT breaking anything...like last time on my mk4 lol

Then it started to rain :-(  carried on for a while, but it started getting heavier and darker, as I was using an extension lead and home made work lamp, I figured it might be best to pack away, I managed to get the pads in and caliper back on, just not torqued up

If you get this problem again you can try this,it works most of the time.Take the handbrake cable off of the caliper and get someone to pull back and forth on the arm quite quickly while you turn your,erm,tool  :laugh:
