Title: Project - Mk1 GTi Convertible, 1981

Hello,
I've had many Golf GTis, the first was a Mk1 1.6. The latest is a Mk1 GTi Convertible, 1981, a rolling shell with most parts needed to complete. I've been looking at it for a while with the intention of getting it ready for the Spring/Summer but it needs a lot of time that I'm not sure I've got. Is there anyone interested in partnering me on a full restore? It's only missing the seats and bits and bobs I'm hoping to pick up on this site.

Lol not much response to that, I may have to put it up for sale. Also looking for original or recaro or leather seats...

Mk2 front seats fit in. Miggt help with the search a little.
