Title: earthing point for sub in the boot of mk3 golf

hi,
this may sound really dumb but i've just wired up a sub into my gf's mk3 golf but i cant find a gd earthing point in her boot any one got any sugestions?

Or get a drill out and make one, go for somewhere quite solid, away from petrol tank, important bits of the car. Then rub a bit of the paint off around the hole, use ring terminal/bolt/nut and it's done  :smiley:
I did it today in my wheel well, also put a washer either side to stop water getting through, covered the underside in anti rust treatment and sprayed it in waxoyl  :grin:

Just done mine.

Lift up the off side (driver side) rear seat up, you should find an electrical black box which is earthed allready, god knows what it is, looks important though! You can unscrew that and earth it there, nice and easy.

I always use the rear seatbelt bolts that go through the floor. Never had any problems with alt noise from their either  :smiley:
