After having the paint and wheels ceramic coated at the detailers I was informed of a run/bubble on the spoke area of the passenger side, 5 pence in size, looks awful, just been to vw to claim on the warranty they seem ok with me wanting a replacement wheel, however nothing they can do for the money I've spent on that wheel being coated,I've tried to get them to Let me keep the wheel as a spare as a good will gesture or even buy it back of them for a much reduced price but they said no,it's will go back to headquarters to be looked at then probably be refurbished.
It will probably be thrown away, what a waste.
Check your wheels clubsport s owners for similar imperfections.

Had a call from vw this morning confirming that they are going to change the wheel. So all good so far on warranty claim.

That's a result.
How much would 1 wheel cost to be re-coated in ceramic?
I wouldn't imagine it would be that dear. I know its not the point but you might have to take it on the chin.
I had my car ceramic coated and then the dealer went and painted the front bumper when he was only meant to be fixing the scuff on the lower plastic moulding. It cost me another £100 to have the bumper re coated but I couldn't be bothered arguing with them.

The guy who did the car said he would do the new wheel for free, usually around 35 per wheel having spoken to him today, haven't told vw that,I told them it's cost me 35 already for the bad wheel plus another future 35 for the new one to be coated, no offer of goodwill or anything I can claim back on.
