It was getting ready to roll. Then 'Dieselgate' appeared and VW binned it.All that compensation and scandal really messed them up.Could not have happened at a worse time for the mother of all Golfs.
Now it's VW Hybrids and electric they are concentrating on.
All the more reason for buying a Clubsport S i suppose.

It's a shame, as I'm sure everybody has realised, probably just about every manufacturer is 'at it'. VW were the first to get caught and held up as an example.

I had delivery of our Mk7 GTI a couple of weeks ago and it's an amazing car. They knocked that one out of the park.
I hope that the buying public take a sanity pill and realise that they still make decent cars and that the 'affected' car that they bought remains a decent car.

And as for the 'compo' mentality kicking in when they're forced to pay out, well, that could be their undoing and we could all pay a price for that one.
