Title: Pre & Post Lambda Sensors 1.8T

Hi, My Pre Cat (B1) lambda sensor is throwing the usual error code on my AUM 1.8T and guzzling fuel like no one's business!
My question is though, am I correct in thinking that the B1 is a 6 wire and the B2 is a 4 wire sensor.
Looking through eBay brings up 5 wire version's.. Plus I'd only buy the Bosch model.

Any advice would be great, thanks

B1 and B2 refers to banks so the 1.8T will only ever read the fault as being on B1 as it only has one set of pots...

From what I can find the pre cat is a 5 wire and the correct Bosch number is 0258007351 or LS7351

Cheers Wez, Great advice. Since writing the post i've realised that B1 covers both the Pre & post sensors.
But its my B1 S1 sensor thats up s**t creek. The last owner probably used a pattern version.
