Cheers for that, seems like £130 is quite a lot compared to what others have quoted.
The service lady said they have to lower to subframe in order to do it🤔

Not mentioned to me on my 3rd year service by the dealer??
-
Nothing said to me either about it and I have had 4 services to date.

Our car won't go past 3 years without it, as I will make a point of sorting it with the dealer in 2017. If you haven't had it done i would make the call to the dealer, unless its on a 3-4year pcp/lease and you are chopping it in...

I had the diff fluid changed on my Gti PP last month. I had to ask as it wasn't included in the 3 year service pack and paid £65 for the change.
It is a good idea to have this done inside 3 years, when they change the Haldex fluid they cycle the pump and make sure all is working as it should. Otherwise this may be a forgotten component as it isn't standard GTi fitment covered by routine servicing.
