Took clocks out my car and a pin got bent and touched another one I unbent the pin but now have no permanent live on the cluster pin 23 blue connector I've run a 12v preferment live from my stereo to the cluster just so I can use the car does anyone know where the fault would be I checked the fuses and there all ok the problems with terminal 30, (B+) wire any ideas?

Yep I only relised after I was rushing to get the connectors back in but have bent it back now but there's no voltage on the loom side of the car which should give 12v permanant

Have you replaced fuse for dash?
I would do that before anything else, could have just triggered and you may not be able to spot with your eye.
Send me a PM with your email,..... might be able to send you a wiring diagram if I dig out my old laptop with VW stuff on.

Just checked the dash fuses again found a 5amp blown replaced it and all working again thank you for your help can't believe I missed it earlier
