Title: N75 Hose dimensions for manual boost controller
Post by: Ainsleyg1981 on 26 October 2016, 18:18
Hi all
I'm wanting to fit a manual boost controller on my AGU 1.8t I want run it in parallel with the n75 valve, my question is does anyone know the size of the hose that connects to the n75 valve as I need to get a reducer as the hose size that connects to the mbc is 4mm (vacuum hose)
Thanks in advance chaps.

Ainsley

Just use your right foot to control the boost  forget the manual stuff

Nice idea if it has more than 0.5 bar that's wank! My wife's diesel touran is faster. Even 1bar would be nice save it feeling like a Nissan Micra

A mapped diesel will feel faster even if you have 1bar of boost

5 or 6 mm.
Wouldnt personally get a boost controller over having the aum mapped but each to there own.

Neither would I but I can't stand it being so slow in standard trim and a boost controller if installed correctly to run parallel with the n75 will possible double my boost for £25. As I have the old throttle cable engine a remap is £350. Which I don't have at the moment.

I see your point.
5mm will do it fine
