hi lads, after some help the inlaws tdi has just stopped starting, it bumps fine but doesnt jumpstart, the batts fine and can hear the fuel reg and the thing clicking in the fuses.
any ideas?? im thinking starter motor

Probally starter. Take it of and put a live to it on the bench and see if the soliniods clicking.
