Hi all.
Yeah I'm guessing this has been around but I'm looking to put some vw caddy 195/65/15 on to replace the santis over the winter months I won't be doing long distance or speeds just wanting to know if these would work or would I need a different wheel and tyre size all together
Thanks in advance Neil

15" wheels won't clear the front brakes. You'll need at least 16" for standard 312mm front brakes. Probably 17" wheels if you have PP, but I'm sure someone will clarify the latter.

If you have the tyres you can always try one and see if they clear the brakes.
Though your car is going to look really crap with those on. I always look forward to taking my winter tyres off as the car looks so much better.
Have a look at the tyre pressure label stuck to the car. It will list all the suitable tyre sizes for your car.

GTD, GTI need at least 16" wheels (205 55 16 tyres) - otherwise won't clear brakes, PP and R need 17" wheels.

Thanks for the replies I never thought to look at the label ooops lol I haven't got PP so guessing il be safe with 16's but will check..
Thanks again
