Is the warranty with VW?

Some garages charge for diagnostics if it's not a fault covered by warranty

Can you see where the noise is coming from? Could it be a faulty injector..? Is the car running ok...just noisy?

Sorry yes VW warranty bought used from VW.

Yeah car seems to be running fine.

I first noticed it when the car was idle for a couple of mins all fine then it was like a loud blowing type of noise.

Then sunday seems to be making a noise when im driving even my gf mentioned it, sort of like a grinding noise until i press the gas pedal

I will try take a video after work

edit - taking it to VW saturday for them to listen and a test drive....

The first video just sounds normal to me but what's the whirring noise in the second video?? Sounds like something is moving or adjusting but I'm not sure what it could be

TBH I'm gonna listen to see if my car does this lol

In the second video is that mechanical veep noise you zooming in and out.
It could be the electronic flaps on the intake manifold if not.

That rattle to me in the first video sounds like a heatshield rattle.
The metal clips that hold them on do rot and can fall off causing a rattle. Have a look under the car behind the engine.

No the noise is the car in the 2nd video and is coming from around the fuse box area

1st video noise seems to be coming from pulley? I will check though

Its going into vw in 2 weeks anyway

Thanks
