hi guys new to the forum
just bought a golf gti edition 30 from a local dealership on tuesday 4 october, and it had been sat a while when i took it a test drive and could hear a slight buzz from the drivers side wheel, and i thought it might've been just the brakes a bit stuck, but after driving it a bit more its still there,i had a friend who knows a bit more about cars and he said it sounds like the wheel bearing is going, and i was wondering if its the dealerships responsibility to change it or not with or without a contribution from myself?
thanks

Bought from a VW dealership, or a random dealer forecourt? I'd head straight back over there regardless and ask that they first diagnose it, and then repair it. End of.

Just go back and talk - it's an 8/9 year old car ;)

If the fault was present when you bought it, then the garage are responsible for fixing it
