Welcome. There aren't many colours to choose from nowadays. I'd go for either metallic grey/anthracite or white i think. I would like a green one but they don't do them.

Welcome Splodger. I'd go for Carbon Grey. Had a mk6 GTD in Carbon Grey and loved the colour. Needs a good washing / cleaning technique though as darker colours will show the dreaded paintwork swirls If you use bucket and sponge or you let the supermarket car park cleaners loose on it!

Yes...have a white Audi A3 saloon at the mo,had it for about 8 months and paint looks good.
Only ever use snow foam on it,and I NEVER use a chamois...let it dry natural.
It's a company car but I do like to keep it nice.

Btw...I was passing Dane County VW in Chester today so called in to ask for a gti brochure...guy said they had none...he was quite off-hand actually...if you go near an Audi dealership they are all over you like a rash.
Going to phone around some more tomorrow...lol

Carbon steel grey doesn't show the muck up very bad at all in my opinion.

I agree; IMO easier to look after than black; here's a picture of my mk6 after I'd machine polished and waxed it;
